Linux Software Map: Macify

  • Description: Take a plain file, add an appropriate resource fork in appledouble format to make a Mac-recognizable file. The CREATOR and TYPE are assigned by the extension of the orig file. The extensions-to-CREATOR/TYPE mapping table is macify.dat. Appledoubleify (included) is used to do each conversion. Tested on SunOS4/5, HPUX, Linux.
