  • Description: A client/server gateway to the SMS protocol (short messages sent by mobile phones [GSM]). Requires specialized hard- ware (a serial GSM module like the WaveCom WMOD2B or Falcom A1). The server can be used interactively through telnet, or via a command-line client. As of version 0.41b, both sending and receiving SMS is supported. The server also supports the concurrent use of multiple GSM instances. Now features a gateway to mail.
