  • Description: Samba is a SMB based file and print server for unix. It provides access to unix file and print services from SMB compatible clients such as WinNT, WfWg, OS/2 and Pathworks. It also includes a ftp-style unix client and a netbios nameserver. To join the Samba mailing list send mail to listproc@listproc.anu.edu.au with a body of "subscribe samba Your Name" Ansi-C compiler and a TCP/IP network.
