WWW FAQs: How do I remove the ads and copyright notice from my myspace page?

2007-04-07: You don't. Sure, it's technically possible with CSS, but the MySpace terms of service state very plainly that if you remove the ads or the copyright notice from your MySpace page, your profile will be deleted. So don't do that.

You can customize your MySpace page in many ways, but you can't have 100% complete control over it. Think about it - MySpace is great, but MySpace is a business. MySpace is supported by advertising revenue. They're not there simply to give you a free website out of the goodness of their hearts.

If you really want control over your web page, ask yourself why it is still on somebody else's site. It might be time to create your own website.
