Wusage 7.1 Manual
You can answer many such questions using the Quick Queries feature.
To take advantage of this feature, first open your configuration file using the web-based user interface. Then, on the Control Page for your configuration, click on the Quick Query button.
You will now be prompted to answer several questions:
1. What do you want to look for? You must specify a pattern or regular expression, as well as the type of information you want to retrieve. The interface is similar to that used for the Items to be Charted (totalsgroup) option. See the documentation for that option for more details.
2. Do you want an answer based on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual or cumulative summary data? If your reports contain only one type of report, you will not have to answer this question.
3. What range of dates should be included in the query? If your query is based on the cumulative summary, a limited range of dates cannot be effectively specified.
After you have answered each of these questions, Wusage will use the stored query information from previous reports in order to compute a response.
Please note: The query database for each epoch takes up a significant amount of disk space. For this reason, the Keep Quick-Query Data for How Many Reports? (keepdata) option is set to 10 by default in any new configuration files you create. You can increase this value if you wish.
